I JOINED RADIO FOR : The BIG Bucks (hang on ….what...... you mean that’s Jamie’s payslip, NOT mine!!!!!!)
I’VE BEEN IN RADIO FOR : 22 years (yes I know, I’m old!!!!)
I LOVE RADIO BECAUSE : where else can you get paid to talk and play music
IF I WASN’T IN RADIO I’D BE : Unemployable
I KNEW I WAS DESTINED FOR RADIO WHEN : my schoolmates and I would head to the Ekka. They’d be off to sideshow alley for the sample bags and the rides while I’d be making a beeline for the radio broadcast van to watch the on air jock in action ( sad but true!!!!)
MY WORST RADIO MOMENT WAS : when I interviewed a member of the Deaf Society for Deaf Awareness Week. His hearing aid was obviously on the way out (thanks for telling me) and he couldn’t hear a word – all LIVE to air!!!! All the other jocks were in the next studio p……ing themselves I received a special award –the SILENCE IS GOLDEN award named after a song at the time. Funny, I don’t play that song anymore!!!!!!!

What a night of conversation that would be!!!!!
IF I LEFT RADIO THE HAPPIEST PERSON WOULD BE : My wife – we’d actually get to spend weekends together- mind you, after a couple of weeks, she’d be so sick of me –she’d be writing my resumes!!!
