Gladstone Marine 100

Notice is hereby given of the holding of the “Gladstone Marine 100”, a predicted log event, to be held on Sunday, November 8, 2009.

The Marine 100 is offered for the participation of eligible craft, by the Rotary Club of Gladstone in conjunction with the kind assistance of the Volunteer Maine Rescue Squadron and the Gladstone Marine Centre.

The event will be offered to participants in two divisions, one for planing craft over a course from Auckland Creek in Gladstone harbour to Sea Hill (via The Narrows) and return and a second (subject to sufficient numbers of entrants) for displacement craft over a shortened course from Auckland Creek to the most northerly marker beacon in The Narrows and return.

The Marine 100 is a family fun day, for all the boating public in the Central Queensland area.

Nominations close on Friday, November 6, so hurry up and get your skipper keen for a day on the water.
