The boating and marine lifestyle of Gladstone is celebrated each Easter with the annual Gladstone Harbour Festival, one of the Region's largest events, coinciding with the famous blue water classic the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race.
The weeklong celebration that we have come to know and love as the Gladstone Harbour Festival has a humble past but a very exciting future! Celebrating the 49th year, the Gladstone Harbour Festival is rapidly expanding.
The Festival has enjoyed a huge growth, with over 70,000 spectators visiting the annual event. Much of this success can be contributed to the range and quality free entertainment provided at the Festival throughout the entire week. A program promoting the Festival celebrations will be distributed throughout Gladstone and the surrounding region the week prior.
