Zinc Presents Ian Moss and Wes Carr live on stage as part of their “Shake it Up Tour.”

5 time ARIA Award winner and respected as one of Australia’s iconic musicians, Ian Moss delivers an unforgettable sound, not only as a telling soloist on guitar, but especially with his silken voice ringing with clarity and resonating with pure soul.

Ian’s distinctive vocal is the essential signature of his soulful bluesy muse as it has been since his first tentative foray into music during the early 1970s. After enjoying the status of being Australia’s best guitarist in the legendary band Cold Chisel, Moss carefully evolved into a solo artist of the same calibre.

Heading back out on the road, Moss has invited singer / song writer Wes Carr to join him as a special Guest, after recognising his talent as both singer /songwriter and guitarist. The Australian Idol winner can be described as many things, but overnight success is not one of them. After many years of playing gigs in and around Sydney and winning acclaim for his work with a host of rising stars, Carr’s debut post-idol single You hit the 2nd spot on the ARIA charts in late 2008, and his major-label debut album The Way the World Looks has achieved Gold Sales.  “I’m really ready and excited to head out on the road and play this music to anyone who wants to listen to me.  I want to be on the road for years to come playing the music that I love to play, I really couldn’t think of anything better than that”

Wes will show case hits from The Way the World Looks on the tour and Ian will perform tracks from Soul on West 53rd as well as a selection of his Moss/Chisel classics, then to round off the performance he will invite Wes on stage for what is bound to be a show stopping encore.
