Andy Phippsy has been around the water since the age of four, The well known media personality is a master chef with 31 yrs experience and has conquered the television market with his laid back presentation style and love of all things piscatorial.
He boasts 2 years as a Getaway lifestyle presenter, host angler chef and producer of the national Hooked on Water programme and 600 live news crosses for fishing surfing and boating on the nine network. Add to this his 3 best selling cookbooks and dvds and you have the total water based lifestyle reporter.
Phippsy is also a licensed skipper and has been in the fishing charter business in Noosa for 5 years. He currently runs Phippsys Catch Restaurant at Coolum and is a keen longboarder. Phippsy has lived at at the same address in Sunrise Beach for 17 years and was previously a teacher with the Sunshine Cooloola Institute of TAFE.
