Birds of Tokyo's music has been described as music that incorporates soaring vocal melodies, catchy rock based guitar hooks and a driving rhythm section, the live show is filled with an energy as raw and exposing as it is energetic, emotive and fun.
The band played all Australian shows at the Big Day Out in 2009. "Broken Bones", "Silhouettic" and "Wild Eyed Boy" were voted in at #20, #22 and #51 respectively in the Hottest 100 of 2008.
